Blogger threw a whole lotta new stuff at me in the past couple of days. I've been in touch with a fellow editor offering to send some work my way for CROSSxCHECKING. So I decided to go visit the website, something I haven't done in ages, to see if it needed anything. There I discovered that after all the special work I put into the CxC site and my website so that all the posts would appear on separate pages without dates, now Blogger has a page feature just like webpages.
I spent an afternoon taking advantage of that feature for the CxC site, only to receive an email this morning telling me Blogger had made several new templates available and with more customization options. So I went back again and made even more changes.
I didn't have it in me to fix my website after all that work. I'll tackle it another day, but since I am a gal who lives for change, I couldn't pass on the chance to replace this old template too. I never did like the way everything was listed in one long sidebar on the right side of the page. So much got lost. And with the new template my Suite 101 widget finally works so you can check some of my articles over there. I don't plan to make any other major changes as I'm going to have to spend some time over at my website this weekend.
It's fun and way cheaper than redecorating my house. My husband will be pleased.
