Sorry, I am running a little late with this one, but the spring issue of Rose&Thorn went live last week (tax day, which is why I am running late). There's some great stuff including a story by Michelle Davidson Argyle, blogger at Literary Lab and co-winner of a CROSSxCHECKING critique in the Gumbo Writers Contest last year. No, "This" (not a typo, that's the name of the story) was not the one I critiqued, though I wish I could claim credit for it.
The issue does include a couple I did edit. I won't bother mentioning which ones they were, because I really didn't do much––a comma here, a period there. It was actually a little disappointing. I wanted to sink my teeth into a good edit, but it just wasn't necessary.
If you haven't already, I suggest you go over and savor this issue , the first, I believe, totally selected by new Co-Managing Editors Angie and Kat.
